Percy Jackson and The Lightening Thief

Percy Jackson is a famous book written by Rick Riordan which describes the story of a 12-year-old boy Percy Jackson who is the main protagonist and the narrator of the story. This book is based on Greek gods. In this book, Percy Jackson gets to know that he has a strange connection with water and also estimates that he is the son of Poseidon, the Greek god of water. He goes to Half-Blood camp where other children are also demigods (half human and half god) and many satyrs (half human and half goat). He also made half-blood friends namely- Grover Underwood (satyr), and Annabeth Chase (daughter of Athena). He gets to know that a precious lightning piece which was a weapon of Zeus had been stolen and he wads the one who was accused of it. He had to return the lightning rod to Zeus to save the Olympus and the world from massive destruction. Percy Jackson finds that the lightning piece was hidden in the shield which was given to him by Luke Castellen, the son of Hermes. At the night of summer solstice, when the war was about to start at Olympus, it was restored to Olympia by Percy.

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone is a famous novel and the most-liked book among children and adults. It is written by J.K. Rowling, a British author. The author describes a fictional imaginary wizarding world. In this book, there is a school known as Hogwarts, where students come to study and learn witchcraft and wizardry. Harry also goes to Hogwarts. There he makes two friends namely-   Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. He and his friends were categorized into 4 houses namely- Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. At Hogwarts, Harry also made his first enemy- Draco Malfoy. He also got to know about how his parents were murdered by the Dark Lord- Voldemort. At last, Harry defeats him and saves Hogwarts from the wrath of Lord Voldemort. I would recommend this for ages 9 to above.

Famous Five is a series of adventurous experiences of three siblings-Julian, Dick, and Anne. This book is written by Enid Mary Blyton, a famous English writer. In this book, the three siblings (Julian, Dick, and Anne) visit to spend time with their uncle, aunt, and their cousin Georgina. There they get to know that Georgina only answers when she is called George. They also get to know that Georgina owns her private island which is known as Kirrin Island. They go adventuring to Kirrin Island along with Georgina's dog, Timothy (Tim).

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid is a hilarious book written by Jeff Kinney. This book describes the story of an eleven-year-old boy named Greg Heffley, who is stuck in a middle school with a bunch of morons. He writes his experiences in middle school in his journal. What makes the book hysterical is that everything Greg tries to do has hilarious consequences and his family is funny. He fills his journal with all the misadventures in his life. This book is most appropriate for the ages 10-15.
